The Art of Prompt Engineering
Getting the best results from AI depends heavily on how you ask. Here is a guide to mastering prompts on Top DigiMedia.
The C.R.E.A.T.E. Framework
- C - Context: Give the AI a role. "Act as a senior marketing manage..."
- R - Request: Be specific about what you want. "Write a 500-word blog post..."
- E - Examples: Provide examples of style or format if possible.
- A - Audience: Define who is reading. "For tech-savvy millennials..."
- T - Tone: Adjectives matter. "Professional," "Humorous," "Empathetic."
- E - Extras: Specify constraints. "No jargon," "Use bullet points," "Under 280 characters."
Common Mistakes
- Being too vague: "Write about dogs" vs "Write a care guide for adopting a senior Golden Retriever."
- Contradictory instructions: "Write a long detailed summary but keep it under 50 words."
- Ignoring iteration: The first result is a draft. Tweak your prompt and regenerate to refine the output.
